London to Brighton Bike Ride

Just a quick update. Keith and Allen completed the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton bike ride in around 5 1/2 hours. We would like to thank everyone for their support, and I hope you wish us luck....as we will be putting ourselves through it in 2009.

The Honest Miller Charity Night Pub Quiz. Sunday 8th June will be the usual monthly Pub Quiz being held at The Honest Miller in Brook. This quiz will be extra special as it is in aid of raising money for the British Heart Foundation, which Keith & Allen are raising money for whilst also taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride on the 15th June 2008.
Join us for our quiz on Sunday 8th June, and help us raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation.
Since 1980 the British Heart Foundation has been involved with the London to Brighton charity bike ride. The London to Brighton bike ride is the UK's largest charity bike ride with 27,000 riders set to take part this year.
This year, Keith and Allen are taking part in the BHF London to Brighton ride. They will be setting off on the 15th June 2008 from London's Clapham Common for a grueling 56 mile (90 Kilometres) ride which ends on Brighton Seafront.

Keith says " Being my first London to Brighton I find it very scary, but I feel the more cash you give me....the less scared I will be. I don't want to be scared...so any amount will be just grand ! " |
Allen says " Well, what can I say....this will be my second London 2 Brighton bike ride, and I hope to raise loadsa money for a great charity. So come on guys, dig deep !!! " |
